FIRES
A five-roomed house situated in Fleming street. Belfast, owned and occupied by Mr \\\ Candy, was totally destroyed by lire shortly before noon on Saturday." About 11 o'clock the occupier lit. "the fire to prepare lunch, and left the building some timo later to resumo his work across the road. Subsequently a person calling at the house discovered the building' on fire, the flames then having too strong a hold for any of tho furniture to be saved. The only, articles recovered were a™ motor-cycle and an ordinary bicycle, which were stored in a detached building at the hack of the house. The house was insured for £100, and the furniture and piano lor another £50. so that Mr Candy will be a loser of a considerable amount.
