LONDON, May 14. : Mr Turner, an .actuary, reports that owing to a miscalculation in the Frfendly Society records, not because of any fraud, tho Postal, Telegraph, and General Civil Service Benevolent Socioty has a. doficienc-y of £883,000 in the funds* necessary to pay promised benefits. Ho recommends either increased coa-" tributioni, or largely reduced benefits.
