(By Cabfc.—Pre»s Awiodation.—CopyrifhtJ LONDON, January 29, The Labour Conference at Glasgow almost unanimously resolved that the permanent improvement of the workers' lot would only bo fully realisable by joint action on trade union and independent political lines. Mr Ramsay Mac Donald, M.P., chairman of the Parliament Party, supported the resolution as a definite challenge to syndicalism.
