VEGETABLES.
Even with a possibility of repeating the advice giveu during tlio past month, it-will be fitting to again advise planting out all kinds of autumn, winter and spring crops, such as celery, lee-Ks, broccoli, cauliflower, savoy, and similar vegetables. Planting such at this season is necessary to a supply for later use. Remember that all the above aro hungry plants, and need rich food to bring them to perfection. Runner beans, butter beans, and late-sown peas, which are now bearing their pods should have occasional supplies of weak liquid manure at their roots. Such treatment will give surprising re-sults. Continue making sowings of turnips and lettuce every few weeks.
