A BENEFIT BAND CONCERT.

The Lyttelton Marine Band will play a programme of music in the Domain Gardens to-morrow (Sunday) afternoon. The performance is of a complimentary nature, being a benefit for Mr P. Sullivan, a native aud ex-residont of Lyttelton, who met with a terrible motorcycle accident at Timaru about three or four months ago, and is likely to remain in the hospital at Timaru for several months yet. Mr Sullivan has a family to support and his financial resources have come to an end. Only rocontly he had to undergo another operation. Tlie band will play a selected programme and the City Council has granted permission for a collection to be made at the garden gates.
