WHOLESALE BURGLARY.
» (r-U-SS ASSOCIATION T_XXC__U-.) AUCKLAND, January 28. Arthur Douglas, 35 years of ago, rjleadbd g'lilcy in the Police Court toGay to sixteen charges of burglary, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. Douglas carried out those sixteen crimes mostly in daylight, in Auckland, Whangarei, and Onehunga, wit-hiit a fortnight, during the holiday season. A considerable proportion of the stolen goods, the total value of which is nearly £200, has been recovered. Douglas was remanded to appear at Wellington, where, it is understood, he will be called upon to meet a similarly formidable list of charges.
