SLY GROG-SELLING.
(S-ECiAi, to "the rau-S.") GISBORNE, January 28. As an outcome of a raid made by She police at Tolaga Bay. last Sunday, Reuben Rickards was charged before Mr AY. A. Barton, S.M., at the Tolaga Bay Police Court this morning with sly grog-selling. He pleaded guilty. Tho details disclosed no special circumstances, excepting that a. considerable quantity of liquor was seized on the premises. His Worship commented on the statement that a fair amount of jly-grog selling was going on. .A fine .1 clO and costs was im.osedr
