A FIERCE GALE.
; « BUILDINGS AND SHIPPING DAMAGED. (By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received January 28th, 9.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 28. Many buildings were unroofed, nnd others damaged, in tho city and suburbs, by a fierce westerly gale, which lasted. several hours. Some squalls of wind had a velocity of 75 miles an hour. Several vessels were blown from their moorings, but escaped with slight damage.
