GRAY v. NEWMAN. (By Cable.—Preee Association— Copyright.) LONDON, January 26. Great interest is being displayed in the Gray v. Newman billiard match with regard to Gray's skill with ivory balls. The opening of the match was quiet. Gray's best red loser effort at tho interval was 69 out of a break of 76. His best break was 110 against Newman's 104. \ ; Later. Newman has scored 5167 and-Gray 645. Gray showed poor form in the evening, being unable to the ivories for his favourite stroke. His best runs were 17 and 13 in losing hazards.
