Mnnro. read tho Ritual, and Bro. J. Heaslcv rend the Prayors. At tho coaclasioniof the service, tho deceased's favourite, hymn, "Lead, Kindly Light,** was sung by the gathering. Represent-v, fives of nil the local bodies, including", tho chairman ancl councillors of tho Amuri County Council, were present nt the graveside. A memorial serrk». will bo held in tho Waiau Presbyterian church on Sunday evening next, the preacher being Mr Nixon. Tho motor service between Waita,and Culverden was inaugurated yesterday afternoon.
