AN EXCITING FISHING ADVENTURE.
. * . (press association ■na.roBAM.) AUCKLAND, January 26. Whilo two fishermen and a party of fourteen were fishing at Mauukau Heads one hooked a oft shark which capsized the dinghy that was being towed behind the launch. The three occupants of the dinghy were thrown into tho water. A Maori was pulled aboard the launch and a second man was helped aboard with the aid of a fishing line. The third man, who was fully clothed, was carried away by the current. One of the fishermen jumped from the launch with a lifebuoy. He found that tlie man had disappeared. Hβ then took off. his lifebuoy, and by diving recovered the man, who was got aboard the launch unconscious. Animation was finally restored by persistence in artificial methods of respiration.
