TRAINS COLLIDE.
FIVE PEOPLE KILLED. (By Cable. —Pice* Association—CopTTielit.) (Received January 27th, 12.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, January '2G. A passenger train collided with, a freight train at Jackson, Michigan. Five peop.o vrero killed and twenty injured. Darkness rendered rescue tvork slow. Two hours after the accident several passengers were 6tiil under the wreckage. It is feared that somo hare succumbed.
