(PRESS ASSOCIATION" TKI.KCIIAM.I TI.MARr. January 25. The largest wool sale in this district. 1.5.300 bales hem" ofFered, was held on Saturday. The sale commenced at 7 a.m., "with an hour for breakfast, and all but star lots were disposed of by 12.30. There was a Kpod attendance of buyers— English, Continental, American, and Dominion —and the same proceeded briskly. Prices showed considerable diversity, consequent on the differences in condition. Ranges were:—Ha If bred. 9d to lljdthreequarterbred. M to 11 ]d; crossbred. 8-3 d to 103 d; bellies and pieces, o.Jd to 8i?d; sandy, B£d to OJd • crutchings, 6Jd to 7d ; merino, lCd to 13Jd.
