POULTRY MARKET.
There was a. large entry in the market again on Saturday, but many birds were poor and unmaturcd. Prices for these, especially in ducks and hens, tvere loir. Table chickens were- in good demand from 6s to 9s -id. hens 2s to oe, pullets 3e Gd to 7s, ducks 2s 6d to 5s 6d, goose 4s 9d to Gs, all per pair.
