BIG COMPANY RESUMES.
MEN'S DEMANDS GRANTED. TO PREVENT SUFFERING. LONDON, January 24. The Cornwall Company, which employs five hundred coal porters, has resumer operations. Sir Eawin Cornwall, M.P., the head of the firm, explains that the object is to prevent sutt'ering, not because the men are underpaid.
