VARIOUS BILLS.
The Rlngiora Drillshed Site Vesting Bill was passed through committee with ouo minor amendment.
Tho .Temporaiy Employees' Bill, Kaitaia Land Drainage Bill, and Patent Designs and Trade-marks Act Amendment Bill, wero put through committee without amendment. The Firo Br'gade Act Amendment Bill was committed. A new clause, providing an appeal to a magistrate by any person dissatisfied with the decision of an inspector as to fire escapes, wns added, on the motion of Mr W. E. D. Bell. Tho Harbours Act Amendment Bill was committed, all the clauses being dropped except No. 17. which provides for appointment by the Government when a non-elective meuriDcr vacates his office. Progress was reported on the Land Agents' Bill. All the Bill that had passed through committeo were read a third time and pesscd. THE END IN SIGHT. In reply to Sir Joscrh "Ward, The PRIME MINISTER said he honed the session would be brought to a close on Friday or Saturday. The House rose at 11.45 p.m.
