MRS DRUMMOND'S VOW,
(Received December Bth, 11.20 p.m.) LONDON, December 8.
Mrs Pankhurst has been; granted a week's -license. She is very weak, and it is rumoured that she is suffering from pleurisy.
The Dean of Exeter, at a suffragette deputation's instance, introduced Mrs Pankhurst's name in the prayer for those distressed in mind, body, and estate.
Mrs Drummond, at a meeting at Earl's Court, stated that they swore the Government would never again get Mrs Pankhurst. Their bodyguard would protect them.
~ A collection at the meeting realised £15,000, including £-1500, the result of Mrs Pankhurst's American tour.
