FINANCIAL RESULTS.
The secretary of the Carnival, whilst unable last night to give any definite information regarding financial results, stated that it was fully anticipated that there would bo a handsome surplus after all expenses were met. Regarding the salo of Albion Football Club's art union tickets, which were used instead of the Carnival tickets, owing to the supplj r of theTaStmentioned having rim short, the Rose Carnival Committee desire it known that the holdors of Albion Art Union tickets sold on Saturday will have the same chance of winning the "freetrip" prizes as if tho tickets had been issued from the_ books printed specially £ot tho Carnival. Arrangements will be mado at the drawing of the prizes to ensure that both classes of tickets will rank equal. Those who received Albion Football Club's art union tickets should preserve them till the result of tho drawing,is published. With 'reference to tho books of "free trip" tickets in the hands of different people, it is requested that they, together with all cash received from the sale of "Free trip"" tickets, should bo forwarded to tho secretary immediately.
