SUDDEN DEATH AT RIOCAETON

A sudden death occurred yesterday morning at Eiccarton. About 10 ».m. "William Henry Lodge, 63 years of age, residing at 65 West Belt, collapsed in tho pantry of his home, and died almost at once. The deceased, who suffered from heart disease, had been attended for the past fourteen months by I>r. Fleming, who gave a, certificate of death.

On Saturday a young man named Lee collided with a trap driven on the wrong side of Papanui road, and fell heavily,' bruising hie shoulder. First aid was rendered by Mr W. Pearce, and Dr. Lester passing at the time, ordered bis removal to his home in Sydenham.

A Chinaman named "Wong Yoe, about 68 years of age, a gardener at Green Island, was found dead to-day in a house rented by him in "Walker street. At the inquest on "William Boyce, 81 years of ape, a resident of Elmrow, ■who died suddenly yesterday, the verdict was death from natural causes, the medical evidence showing that Boyce was suffering from pneumonia.
