AN INTERESTING CASE. (rBESR ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, December 6. A matter of great importance as affecting unions registered under the . Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act will be argued before the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The-Wellington Typographical Union recently voted £100 for tKe wives and children of the watersiders now on strike The Court will be asked to determine whether it is within the power of a unipn to make euch a grant out of union funds. It is believed that it will be' the first case of the kind argued in New Zealand, and following on tho Osborno judgment in England it is a patter of great interest to trades unionists.
