Our Wellington correspondent telefrraphs that members of the Legislative Council mot Sir Joseph \\ art! last evening for the purpose of handinjr to him a weddins present for his v daughter (Mrs B. B. Wood), whose marriage took place on Thursday. The presentation, which was made by the Speaker of the Council (the Hon. Sir Charles Bowen), consisted of a handsome solid silver roso bowl, suitably inscribed, and a pair of silver flower vases, bearing the bride's monogram. Sir Joseph Ward returned thanks to tho members of the Council on behalf of his daughter.
