At the Supreme Court, his Honour Mr Justice Cooper sentenced William Frederick Clark, for theft from tho Corson, to detention for 18 months, ai Owa Hanana, for fraudulently retaining a postal package, to one year. Benjamin Thomas Wind., for indecent assault on a male, to two years'. Robert Strait-, for theft, to 12 months' ?>robatkm. William Charles Coy, ormerly treasurar of the Auckland Waterside Workers' Union, on two charges of forgery and uttering, was admitted to probation for twelve months, restitution having been, made. Axel Joffs, charged wiA stabbing at Dargaville, was sentenced to tw_ yeans* imprisonment.
