The Canterbury members of the Now Zealand team left for Wellington by tho Wahine last evening, where they will join tho Tahiti for Sydney. There was a large crowd of players, friends, and followers of the game at tho station to wish them success, and cheers were exchanged as the train moved off. The names of the Canterbury contingent are:—S. A. Orchard (manager), D. Reese (captain),. W. Patrick, J. H. Bennett, C. Boxshall. D. Sandman, R. G. Hickmott. and T. Carlton. B. Tuckwell, tho Otago representative, was also a passenger From the south. Tlio Auckland members of tho team, Hemus. Sneddon, Taylor; Tattersnll, aud Somerville, will join the southern members at Wellington, and with Robinson, of Wellington, wiU complete tho party. Tlie' Tahiti sails for Sydney from Wellington this afternoon.
