Hates, Government Meteoro.ogist, supplied tbe following weather summary and forecast at 5 p.m. yesterday:— Weather conditions have improved generally to-day, although cloudy skies havo been much in evidence. Variable breeres have prevailed with moderato s'rutherfces predominating. . The barometer has risen emce yesterday. • '.'_■„• i_ ■ Present indications are for a falling barometer, the winds changing to freshening northerlies soon. Cloudy and hazy weather is probable, with rain following m most parts of the country.
