"QUO VADIS."
For Monday evening next the management of the Colosseum announces a particularly strong; drawing card in a special reproduction of the wonderful film play. "Quo Vadis?" which will be screened for six nights only, and at a matinee. The great excellence of the photography and the admirable acting of the Italian artists of the cast, are in a measure responsible for this, but one of tho biggest factors that has enabled "Quo Vadis ''to become such a world-wide favourite is tho fact that grrat public . interest undoubtedly centres round the period in Roman history with which it deals, viz., the reten of Nero. The struggles of the early Christians at Rome under Nero and their martyrdom by the tyrant's orders, t u e burning of Rome while the Mad Monarch sings, the beautiful vision on* the Via Anpia, are special spectacle-- of power and gran-leur which stand out as strong dramatic episodes in a srroat drams,.
