THE UNION COMPANY AND THE SEAMEN.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION ________■.) DUNEDIN, December 4. The Union Gteam Ship Company denies that an ultimatum was issue?? to the seamen. It is understood, however, that a hint was verbally conveyed to an official of the Seamen's Union that the company had decided to make their own arrangements after Saturday for manning their vessels if the seamen and firemen did not return to work.
