A Bill for tho continuance of the arrangements regulating commercial relations between Germany and tbe British Empire has been introduced into the Reichstag Herr Hoesch, a Conservative, stated that the British colonies gave preferential treatment to Britain to tho detriment of German agriculture and industry. Trade which verged on most favoured nation treatment should no longer bo extended by Germany without reciprocity. Herr Delbrueck, Minister of the Interior, maintained that- it was advisable to make concessions to Canada, because they were advantageous to geueral trade relations with the British Empire.
