HOUSING TRADE UNIONS.
It was recently proposed by the Britwh trade unions to build a great central hall in London, at the corner of Drury-lane and Holborn, the estimated cost being -£200,000. The executi'vo has decided that it would bo impossible to undertako such an expensive scheme, and has recommended that £60,000 should be laid out on housing unions.
