KIRWEE.

The anniversary services in connexion with the Kirwee Presbyterian Church were held on-Sunday, when the Rev. J. J. Bates, of Lytteiton, preached to large congregations both morning and evening. A tea-meeting was held on Monday, when" a large number of people sat down to a sumptuous repast provided by the ladies. At the after-gathering addresses were delivered by the Revs. J. J. Bates and S. Keen, and musical items contributed by Misses J. Burgess N. Johnston, P. and P. Conway, Messrs J. Stockton, Lorgelly, Bishop, Blackwell, and W. Conway. Misses M. Mackintosh, J. Burgess, and Johnston played the accompaniments.
