HANDEL'S "MESSIAH."
The- Christchurch Methodist Choir Union will give two performances of "Tho McisiaJa," on Tnursday and Saturday next, in tlie I>urnam street Church. A choir of 200 vticos; under the of 3lr E. Firth, F.R.O 0.. have been for ten weeks past practising twelve chorused, and a good perforrcanca is anticipated. The eoloists are M. Twose (soprano), Mre btallard (contralto). Mr J. H. Peek (tenor), Mr W. J. Spratt (bass). ML<» i'j. Smitii is the organist. Admission will be by ticket. For further particulars see advertisement.
