Ten years later Cleo, who hits become* a famous actress, takes a fills, near Florence, where she is soon surrounded by a bevy of admirers, chief .of whom is Elbert Lamereux. Sidney ■ Bretton, an artist, suggests that she go to a coming mask ball as the Tiger ■Lily; She buys a magnificent Bengal and takes him to the ball, whero she niakes. a sensation. Morin comes Jto TTlqronce, and, by chance, takes the iext villa to that of his ex-wife. She infatuated with Sidney Bret- • ten.; He imagines he loves her,: but realises his mistake when he sees 'a ; hca'utiful girl dancing in the next garden.' He makes her acquaintance, and .she proves to be Nina Morin. The actress discovors this, and, not knowing her identity, coaxes her to her honse, and by caressing her before Prince, the ti*;er, makes him also jealous of the ■p?rl/' After a hot day Cleo prepares ctp let Prince loose that he may pounce ;.npon the dancing girl. Lamereux is larking in the garden, and seeing Sid:.ti«iy.; : leave the house shoots him in the ;back as he is on his way to the Morin tilla.. Cleo loosens; the tiger. "As he is about to enter, the villa a flash of-light-ning sets it on fire. Sidney rises to his >fee.t s and rushes to.save the occupants. Cleo enters and finds the three people together. Not recognising her husband she speaks to the girl, threatening that if she will not restore Sidney to-her she will set the tiger at her throat. Morin recognises her, and cries, "Stop! do you not see. that this girl is your own daughter?" The shock is too much for tho woman—she toHers and is picked up a corpse by Sidney. Several other good films were . 'ls'o shown. The same pictures wiU bo screened to-night.
