CHRISTCHURCH ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY.

Nosct Wednesday, at tho Theatre Royal, the Christchurch Orchestral Society , will give, tho fourth concert of its 1913 season. The programme will consist of request numbers, and will include, orchestral, vocal and instrumental items. The vocalist will be Miss Sugdon (contralto), xvho won several prizes at the recent musical and olocntionary competitions. Miss Sugden will sing "Auscn Thalt" (Schubert), "Pauline's Romance (Tschai-k<->wsky) and "Tho Lily of the Ganges" fOrlando >forgan). ' Miss Trene Morris (violinist) will play "Air from Concerto" (Goldmnrk). Mr Clarence Moss ('cellist) - will play "Slumber Song" (Auguste Van.Riene). In-this number Mr Moss will be accompanied by full •orchestra.
