FOXTON OPENED.

(press association telegram.) FOXTON, December 2. The local port was opened yesterday by, the arrival of the Awahou from Wellington. It is the .first time the port .has been worked since'the-beginning of the strike. The Awaho* brought no inward cargo, but loaded hemp. The wharf hands did not turn to, but they were very quiet. It was reported that several were anxious to work, but they are being intimidated.
