MB HUGHES AND THE WELLINGTON DEFENCE COMMITTEE.
(Received December 3rd, 1.10 a.m.) SYDNEY. December 2. Mr Hughes, on behalf of tho conference, is issuing a reply to the Wellington Employers' Defence Committee. Ho recommends that the whole affair bo referred to Sir Joshua Williams or any other acceptable arbitrator, his decision to be final on- all points, including the employment of labour.
