HOPES OF PEACE RECEDING.
(Received December 2nd, 10.40 p.m.) Mr William O'Brien says:—"For some unexplained reason we are further from peace at Leeds than we were at Ladybank. Mr Asquith and Mr Bonar Law are the best assets for peace. There will be a tragedy if means to secure peace cannot be found."
