MR W. REDMOND IN AUSTRALIA.
"TALK OF CTVTL WAR ABSURD."
(By Cable.—Preea Association.—Copyright.) FREMANTLE, December 2.
Mr William Redmond, M.P., arrived by the Gorman mail steamer. In an interview, he said that he anticipated that Home Rule would be accomplished by June next. Ho did not think there was any chance of Ulster being excluded from ' the Bill. A majority of the people of Ulster, and also a majority of tho Ulster representatives in the House of Commons, Mr Redmond said, favoured Home Rule, and. there was a strong and growing feeling amongst Protestants in Ulster, in favour of Homo Rule. The talk of civil war was absurd. There migbt be a little rioting, but it would be confined to the south east corner of Ulster.
