At the monthly mooting of the Wait mate branch of tho Mothers' Union, tho following resolution was unanimously adopted:—"That this meeting of women cordially approves the platform of the Bible-in-State-Sshools League, and requests the Government to introduce a Referendum Bill to allow the people to decide upon the question proposed by tho League, and desires the members of Parliament for this district to support such Referendum Bill As women concerned with the upbringing of our own children, and the children of New Zealand, we express our heartfelt conviction that no_ system of education is complete which does not include the twichihg of morality upon a religious foundation, and that for an English-speaking people the proper religious foundation is to bo found in that Book, which has been the foundation of our Empire's greatness."
