NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
Entries for the American Olympic meeting at Laue«st«r Park close this evening, at the Pioneer Club Rooms. A fancy fair will commence at Riocarton at 2.30 to-day. The Canterbury fruitgrowers will hold their regular monthly meeting in the Druid's Hall on Saturday, at 8 p.m. The anniversary -services of the Tai Tapu Methodist Sunday School will bo held on Sunday next.
