TO THK EDITOR OF "THE PBXSS." ■ Sir, —As the Christinas season is one* more approaching, 1 would respectfully draw attention to this institution. It has been our custom to provide dinner and tea on Christmas Day for aß' comers. Wo have been enabled to do - this through the generous response to our appeal from business firms and also from ladies and gentlemen of ChrisU. church and district, who feel we we doing a good work. Wβ shall be thankful for donations of money or provisions. I may also state that this u> tho only appeal this Home makes during the year. As justifying the incla--sion of the Home among the deserving charitable institutions of Cnntertnuy, I may mention that tho Homo is gaged (and has been for many yetni; past) in work among discharged pri-f soners, and tho destitute- of all classes, - The following are a few figures of th&> work done throughout the year:—Nubk" ber in Homo at Deginning of year,. 30; number admitted during the year, 36?;----total, 297.
