Here is a fine Tecipe for coughs that we published several times last winter, and which hundreds of readers used with great success. It is more effective than anything you can buy already prepared, and for 4s you can get enough of the essential oil to make _ a pint of the best cough medicine obtainable. From your chemist secure loz "Parmint" (Double Strength), take this home, and add to it i pint of hot water and 4o_, moist sugar; stir until dissolved- Take 1 tablespoonful 4 times a day. This will give instant relief, and will usually cure the most "\ obstinate cough within-__ hours. It is splendid, coo, for Influenza, Asthma, Whooping Cough, Croup, and Chest Pains. It stimulates the appetite, and has a slight tonic effect, which makes it an ileal remedy for the home. Good either for children or adults. This plan of making cough medicine for the home with sugar, syrup and Parmint has become very popular during the past two years, and thousands of people know its value. There is nothing better.
IMPORTANT—In ordering Parmmt, always specify that you want Double Strength. Your chemist has it, or he can get it for you ; if not, write to Sbarland and Co., Auckland, who makes a speciality of it. 6
