BRITISH AND GERMAN REPRESENTATION.

Thero are indications that neither Britain nor Germany, who are mutually pledged against official participation in the San Francisco aro willing to initiate an invitation to each other to reconsider the matter, but would yield if a third party offered friohdlv offices in that direction. The Board of Trade is disposed to support tho British committee's revised scheme involving a grant of £100,000 instead of £2-0,000 as originally suggested.
It is stated that a majority in the German Reichstag havo agreed to demand a special grant of £100,000 for the efficient representation of Germany at San Francisco.
