Du:icg his first season «>n the turf Cadonia started five tunes, his only victory being attained ir the -Nursery Handicap, of 320 eovs, at the a.J.C. Mt-tting. In the lo.lcwinK season ho won thxeo races, including the A.J.C. St. Leger and tbc A.J.C. I'lwre Uandicap. Aa a. four-year-old Cudjnia etarted in fifteen events, but only once was he placed fust. However, he proved himseif it good racehorse by winning the V.It.C. Handicap, of one mile and three-quarters, and \aat seaeon he won the Sydney Cup, of 4673 ■»ove, defeating a rcaily good field.
