(Received November 30th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, November _»._ Mr E Hulton, the owner of Stornaivsy, in his speech at tho Uimcrack Club dinner at York, protested against the recent slanderous criticisms of the Turf. He added that many troubles were unfairly attributed to the pre■wnt style of riding. While the so-called •'monkey" seat was capable of exaggeration, the old stylo was comp.etely dead. jNo p: ac■ical racing man wou.d argue that the riding o-day waa deliberately foul, or less honest han of yore.
