Arising out of the recent controversy regarding the superiority of Kew Zealand-made tweeds as compared with those of English manufacture, tho ooverning body of Christ's College recently issued tho following circular:— "Ileferring to my circular letter of August last. with, respect to material for College boys' suits, as that notice has apparently been misunderatood by some parents/I have now to inform you that tho previous notice (uaxed December, 1912) that a colonial-manufactured cioth had Been approved and adopted by the Governors of Christ's College, has not been cancelled or withdrawn. "It is quit© optional with parents as to the material to b& used, provided that in colour and general appearance it conforms with the samples approved by the College.—Yours truly, W.
