ENCOURAGEMENT OF VIOLENCE.
UNIONISTS MIGHT RUE IT. (Received November 27th, 10 plm.) LONDON, November 27. Speaking at the National Liberal Congress at Leeds, Sir John Erunner, who presided, declared that every eensible man would prefer a settlement of the Home Rule question by consent, but if this were impossible, the Bill should become law as it stood. ' He warned Unionists that they might rue their encouragement of armed resistance, and said that they had created a dangerous precedent.
