RECAPTURE OF JUAREZ.

FEDERALS' VAIN EFFORT.

("Tiin«e"-Sjdn«y "Sun" Special C»bl*-) (Received November 27th, 9 p.m.) MEXICO CITY, November 27.

The Federals, attempting to recapture Juarez, were defeated. One thousand were kilkd and 700 captured. The rebel losses wero 300 killed and 200 wounded.

The Federals aro retreating southward, quite disorganised, and sanguinary hand to band fighting is proceeding.

Thirty Federal volunteers were executed.

It is alleged that rebels stripped and dressed, themselves in the uniforms of dead Federals and blew up a train, causing the death of sixty Federals.

The hospitals are overcrowded.
