GROCERS' ASSISTANTS.
QUESTION OF STRIKING
At a special meeting of the Canterbury Grocers' Assistants' Union, held last night, the following resolution was carried with only one dissentient:— "That the Union place themselves in the hands of the Strke Committee, and should that committee deem it advisable to strike, the- matter shall be dealt with at a snecial meeting before any action is taken.
