Following the protest against tho appearance of Gaby Deslys, an outcry has .arisen against the adapted French farce, "Who's the LadyP" at tho Garrick Theatre, and an active controversy is going on in the newspapers. There is much undressing by the leading laay in the course of the piece. The Censor attends nightiy. Miss Gertrude Kingston writes strongly upon tho inefficiency of the censorship in safeguarding public morals.
