Scott, ••one time a vaJued member of this Board, and to tender to Mrs Scott and family' its deepest sympathy with them in their bereavement. , "One of the finest and most popular of Dominion athletes," ran the report of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, read at Monday night's "meeline in Wellington, in referring to the death of Mr \V. F. Simpson, the renowned long-distance runner.
