Tho statement was a most unfair one. He also stated that tho Opposition had purposely refrained ' from referring to the irtrike in tho , House, but ho would take an early opportunity of doing so in a constitutional way. Tho division was then taken on the third reading, when the Bill was cari ried by 33 votes to 19. Tho Houso rose at 3.30 a.m.
